A house that became a garden
When they acquired the Jardin Majorelle in 1980, Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Bergé moved into the painter's villa and renamed it Villa Oasis. They entrusted its restoration to Bill Willis and Jacques Grange, who filled it with zellige, stucco and woodwork in the Moroccan tradition.
The private garden surrounding it is visited separately and in limited numbers, to preserve the calm of the place.
